Christmas Miracle

"Christmas Miracle" needed to purchase the King's Castle Dream Center Property!

March 23, 2007 we signed a contract to buy 7 acres of land for $588,000.  We paid $188,000 down as a deposit on the land and promised to pay one balloon payment of $400,000 by December 20, 2007.  The contract was signed by the Superintendent of El Salvador, Rev. Jeremias Bolanos and became a binding document which specifies that in the event of not paying the $400,000 by the due date we would lose the deposit of $188,000 and the property.

We have been raising funds for 7 monthes now and have been successful in raising about 3/4 of the needed funds in offerings and pledges. Now we are down to the wire and we have $197,000 to raise in the next few weeks.

We are asking all of our Alumni Friends, Family, Supporteres and anyone God touches to help us raise these funds by the deadline of December 20, 2007.

Dreams We Share

The Dream Center: Why?

Don and Terri Triplett are passionate about rescuing the children from the barrios in San Salvador - from the influence of the gangs, drugs, alcohol, dysfunctional families, and the vicious cycle of Spiritual Poverty.

Don says, “Our plan is so amazing; it should be classified.  Yet, it is so simple.  It is amazing that everyone is not developing, “Pentecostal Children.”

These Spirit Filled Children are a product of the Castle Club Discipleship program the Triplett’s and their staff have been developing for many years.

Hundreds of children have been led to the Lord from the most terrible communities in the country and have become powerful child preachers, evangelists, teachers, worshipers, and missionaries.

Don likes to say, “What do you get when you take a child who is 100% sold out to Jesus and add Pentecostal Fire to his physical being?”

Then he says, “You get a Spiritual Giant!”

The Castle Club graduates are called Guardians of the Vision, and they are truly amazing children.   They preach the Gospel Everywhere with miracles, signs, and wonders following their ministry.

The Triplett’s Dream is to raise up a Powerful Church through the children, from ages 1 to 21. The legacy the Triplett’s will leave El Salvador one day will be bottled up in the hearts of children sent into the Future to Preach the Gospel and complete the Great Commission.

Don and Terri know that good missions work requires a succession plan. So their dream is: “Jesus in the Children the Hope of El Salvador,”  as they instruct the future Assemblies of God work through Holy Spirit Empowered children and youth leaders.

Right now, Don and Terri have a great challenge before them.  They need a Christmas Miracle.  By December 20th, they must raise $400,000 to pay off the King’s Castle Dream Center land. The Castle Club children are pledging $.15 cents a week to help pay for the land by the deadline.  Everyone in the King’s Castle Dream Center is fasting and praying, selling baked goods and talking to their bosses and friends to help them raise funds to pay off the property. The people are excited, but with December 20th looming ahead, they can’t help but wonder, “How is God going to do this?”

The Dream Center congregation is made up of all kinds of needy people—from babies to the elderly, including the 70 homeless people Ed and Beth bring off the Streets every Sunday and the 75 Yolanda Ministry Widows whose only food for the week is given to them as part of the Compassion Ministry.  The Yolanda Ministry was named after an elderly lady who attended the Dream Center named Yolanda.  No one knew that Yolanda didn’t have food in her home, and she literally starved to death.  Don stood graveside and pledged that nobody would ever starve again in our congregation.

Those fortunate enough to have a job are scarcely making minimum wage at $167 a month in a country where the Cost of Living Index is the same as the USA.

The hundreds of children, adolescents and youth in the King’s Castle Dream Center have faith that God will provide because their faith is huge, and they refuse to believe that any problem could be bigger than their God.

Will you consider helping Don and Terri raise the remaining $400,000 for the Dream Center property? They need a Christmas miracle by December 20th, 2007.

Also, on December 31, 2007, Don and Terri have to move out of the current facility they are using because their lease is up with no option to renew.   The plan is to set up the King’s Castle Crusade Tents on the property and move onto the Dream Center property.

Once the land is paid off, Don and Terri will begin the work of designing infrastructure and developing the Dream Center property. Don knows that if he can pay off the land, many MAPS Construction team will come to work quickly on the Dream Center, and the project will become useful to future generations.

Terri & Don Dream Ahead

I dream of paying off our King's Castle Dream Center land before the December 20th deadline.

On Friday, March 23, 2007 at 10:00A.M. Mountain Standard Time, I will sit down with a group of business men and sign an agreement to purchase 7 acres of prime real estate for our King's Castle Dream Center on Kilometer 7 on the new Constitution Freeway Extension towards the Pan-American Highway Bypass, on the edge of San Salvador.

We need your prayers because after this meeting where I will put $188,777.50 down on the property as a binder, I will have until the 20th of December to pay off the remaining $400,000.  Terri and I have never been this much in debt as we have built our ministry over the years on a cash basis. We build as funds are available--without borrowing funds. The good thing about this deal is that the owner will carry the loan--interest free--for 9 months while we raise the needed funds to pay off the land.

The count down has begun for us to pay off the land as well as to move out of the building we are currently leasing for our King's Castle Church. The General Council of El Salvador needs their tabernacle back to be used by the Royal Rangers, Missionettes, Youth, Sunday School, and other departments for their meetings. We leased the tabernacle with the agreement that we would only stay 3 years and that we would remodel it during the time we occupied the facility. We have enjoyed our short 3-year stay at the tabernacle, and during these years, our church has grown from about 50 to over 700 for Sunday Morning Services, counting everyone including the adults. Our focus is on making Powerful Modern Day Disciples out of the children from the barrios.

We will move our congregation to the King's Castle Dream Center property and begin to function out of our two Evangelism Tents on December 31, 2007. Let me share my dream for the children of San Salvador with you:

  1. Terri and I dream of raising up a model children's ministry model for El Salvador and all the countries where King's Castle is working.
  2. Terri and I dream of training hundreds of children to become a Generation for God in a nation where 93% of the children do not have a traditional family.
  3. Terri and I dream of giving the children a chance to dream of becoming something other than a gang member in the barrios.
  4. Terri and I dream of pastoring a church where every child is trained to serve and is actively engaged in Vertically Integrated Ministry, from birth to the grave.
  5. Terri and I dream of demonstrating Compassion to the children, the widow, the orphan, and the poor through every available means.
  6. Terri and I dream of systematically explaining the Gospel to every child in San Salvador through Strategic Target Evangelism.
  7. Terri and I dream of raising a vast army of children's workers to give an adequate explanation of the Gospel to every child in El Salvador and the world.
  8. Terri and I dream of being "Missionaries to the Future" as we make Jesus famous to the next generation.
  9. Terri and I dream of Transforming Nations for Christ through Effective Children's Ministries.

Terri and I dream of having a SAFE place for children and families to seek God through a variety of activities not available in the barrios: Feeding Center, School, Clinic, Sports Facilities, Vocational Training, Special Skills Training, Pool, Rescue Center and many more opportunities in
